Embed Widget

Add to Your Site

Drop a wheel, name picker, dice roller, or any Random Choice tool straight into your blog or website. Just like embedding a YouTube video: pick a tool below, copy the code, and paste it where you want it. Your visitors can use the tool right there on your page. For a live stream, see Show it on stream.

Embed code

Paste this HTML wherever you want the tool to appear. The link below keeps a credit back to Random Choice.

Show it on stream (OBS)

For a viewer giveaway or a penalty spin on Twitch or YouTube, you can put just the wheel or the pinball board on screen. Pick a tool, add names, and you get a URL to paste into an OBS browser source. It shows the stage and a start button, with no input boxes or menus.

Tool

Leave empty to use the tool's sample list. You can still edit names later by making a new URL.

Adding it to OBS

  1. In OBS, press + under Sources and choose Browser.
  2. Paste the URL, and set width 1920 and height 1080.
  3. To press Start during the stream, right-click the source and choose Interact.
  4. For sound, tick “Control audio via OBS” in the source properties.

A small randomdom.com mark sits in the bottom-right corner, and the result appears as a large card viewers can read.

Where to paste it

The snippet works anywhere you can edit raw HTML. In WordPress, add a Custom HTML block and paste it in. In Ghost, Squarespace, or Webflow, use their embed or code block. Platforms that strip HTML from posts will not render it.

Height is the one value worth adjusting. Wheel-style tools breathe better at 600px or more, while a coin flip or password generator is fine around 400px. If anything looks cut off after pasting, raise the height number.

Terms of use

Free to use on personal blogs, school and classroom pages, and internal company pages. No permission required and no cost.

The snippet includes a link back to the tool page. That link is what keeps these tools free to run, so leaving it in place is appreciated.

Common questions

Is anything my visitors type stored?

No. An embedded tool runs entirely in your visitor's browser, and nothing they enter is sent to or stored on a server.

Does it work on mobile?

The snippet uses a width of 100%, so it shrinks to fit the screen. Height stays fixed, so if it feels cramped on phones, increase it a little.

Will ads show up inside the widget?

No. Widgets that run on other people's sites never carry ads.
